Ehhhh... westernized countries just appear to be "rich". Its all relative really... all depends what you value. Money can't buy time. We spend all this time in school, work, traffic, checkout lines just so we can buy the latest gadget and keep up with the Jones'. Not to mention the stress and frustration that goes along with it all. Then our tax money goes towards further oppressing other governments/cultures and their way of life as if their way is wrong. Its pretty queer if you think about it all, lol. I've fallen and I can't reach my beer... hehehe.. hope all is well :o)

Actually I can't stand trucks and SUV's. Especially people that buy trucks and never use the bed. If you're always hauling stuff then by all means, you need a truck. I guess some guys need to make up for their lack of manhood by driving a truck....thats the only explanation I can come up with, LOL. Gas guzzling sports cars on the other hand have a purpose... Ok, I'm in the auto biz so I hear a lot of crap that gets tossed around about renewable energy/clean energy, etc. Now, seeing as though they could have moved away from gas engines decades ago (the technology has always been there but gas is cheap and powerful energy). Sure electric cars won't pollute... at least you won't see the pollution unless you live near the power plants that are used to light up cities, heat houses and if people bought into the idea... future electric cars. So now you need bigger plants to charge up the cars... but nobody would be buying gas... definitely not a good idea for gas companies and politicians with investment in oil is it? See, there's always an ulterior motive Its like the magician who's hands are quicker than the eye... while you're focusing in on the rabbit in the hat, he's pulling the carpet out from under you
