24.01.2009 14:32 GMT+04:00 /PanARMENIAN.Net/ Turkey-Israel interparliamentary friendship group does not exist anymore.

Turkey-Israel interparliamentary friendship group does not exist anymore. The Turkish MPs took the decision in protest of Israel offensive in Gaza that killed more than 1300 Palestinians with a quarter of children and wounded 5300 in 22 days of bombardments, the World Bulletin reports.

Condemning the Cast Lead operation Israel launched in Gaza, Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan called to ban Israel from the UN.

Visits of Israeli officials to Turkey were cancelled.

That's pretty funny, Turkey actually gives a shit about loss of human lives, so that's why it's cutting ties with Isreal???? LOL

These drones are used for spying or snooping... although tactical, surveillance doesn't give too much of a military edge if the other side has air power. Unfortunately modern wars seem be about the strong vs. the weak. Cowards.

Rather that give importance to what politicians say (specially in front of TV cameras) and portray, one has to look at the deals they make in closed doors.

Israel and Turkey are, and will remain, allies in the foreseeable future. I presume that at the very least it counter balances the Syrian-Iran "friendship".

The Turkish Premier put a good show on TV in Davos for his domestic audience, but the Turkish military is still fully cooperating with Israeli military, and as far as I am concerned their relationship is as strong as before (Israel is still suppying drones for the Turkish military, the same drones by the way that was probably used in Gaza).

Friendly relationships between any two states is based on economic/geopolitical gain. I can only think of ONE exception to that rule. The Turkish-Israeli relationship is not any different...mutual economic/geopolitical gain.

Wow... and Turkey is condemning these crimes against humanity while the rest of the world sat and watched.
