Some one asked me yesterday, Why I/We should be proud to being Armenian?

This was my answer,

Throughout history, Armenia has been a battlefield for many invaders and contending ‎empires, and a bridge for many cultures and civilizations. During the past 2,700 years, ‎Armenia was conquered by the Persian Empire, Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, the ‎Byzantines, Arabs, Mongols, Tatars, Ottomans, Persians, and Russians. Armenian kingdoms, ‎principalities, and even a short-lived empire (95-55 B.C.) managed to survive and thrive for ‎some 1,700 years. Under various kings and princes, under various circumstances Armenians ‎developed a sophisticated culture, an original architecture, and their own alphabet….etc. ‎Armenians proved their existence, proved their continuation from 2,700 year and above till ‎present, we proved our nationalism and connectivity and relation of our ancestors holy lands, ‎and today our proclamation are to our neighborhoods and to the whole world that no one can ‎touch or even think to destroy what history or nature wouldn't and / or couldn't destroy, yes ‎this is why we should proud of it, we are proud to who we are, yes we are the voice of those ‎whom they been forced to kept silent in their graves, if we die and we had a chance to live ‎once again we will never hesitate to get born from holy Armenian wombs, we are Armenian ‎and we will remain thorns prickling to those who hating us, with full joy & gladness I am proud ‎to being Armenian. ‎
